Korean Natural Farming (KNF) is an organic agricultural practice that takes advantage of indigenous microorganisms (IMO) (bacteria, fungi, nematodes and protozoa) to produce fertile soil that yield high output without the use of herbicides or pesticides.
KNF emphasizes self-sufficiency by limiting external inputs and relying on recycled farm waste to produce biologically active inputs.
JADAM is a group of organic farmers established in 1991 by Youngsang Cho who is the son of the founder of the Korean Natural Farming system. The system is mainly concerned with the health and diversity of soil micro-life and its symbiotic relationship with plants.
JADAM came up with a unique solution of an “ultra-low cost” method of farming as an answer to the future of agriculture.
